Case Study: Care Home Emergency Kitchen

Dawsongroup recently provided an emergency response kitchen for a care home in Lincolnshire. We were contacted by a previous customer on Thursday, in urgent need of a kitchen. Their current kitchen was out of action, but they still had an obligation to cater for their residents. We knew a swift response and turnaround time would be required.

The client initially got in touch with us at 10am, and by lunch all contracts had been signed and work had begun. Just 5 hours later, the kitchen had been fully equipped to the customer's exact requirements, safety checked, completely sanitised and loaded ready for delivery. Despite a heavy work load at the time, we rose to the challenge and successfully delivered and installed the kitchen at 6am on Friday, less than 24 hours after we were contacted. 

Dawsongroup provided all the equipment in the kitchen; this included a 6-ring burner, upright fridge and freezer, a salamander grill, double bowl and hand wash sinks and a stainless steel prep table; all fitting into a 16ft kitchen unit. The kitchen was on site for 6 weeks, whilst the necessary works to get their facility back up and running were being completed.
