Case Study: Hotel Fire in Penrith
Sometimes luck just isn't on your side. This was sadly the case in Cumbria where a large hotel located in the Penrith area suffered a devastating fire that obliterated their existing facilities.
With conferences, meetings and a number of weddings booked throughout 2017, it was imperative that the hotel had a fully operational kitchen facility as quickly as possible.
Sales Manager, Tom Dawson, travelled to Penrith to conduct in-depth site meetings and surveys. During these meetings, the equipment required was discussed. It became clear that the kitchen equipment supplied must be able to provide for large scale functions, as well as intimate meals. Adjusting to the varying demands, a solution was proposed that would allow the client complete control over the quality and scale of their food service.
Once the proposal was sent, which included the latest CAD visualisation, the customer agreed the best solution was our 28ft Crusader Plus Kitchen. By 4am on the first morning, the team were on the road to ensure a prompt arrival where the kitchen was installed, gas commissioned and the staff were trained within 2 days.
