Case Study: HC-One Acacia Lodge
Acacia Lodge is set in Northampton and offers residential, nursing and dementia care. Works were due to be carried out in their existing kitchen so Dawsongroup were contacted by George Osborne, Regional Surveyor, to provide a temporary facility which will allow the catering team to continue food provision for the 40 residents.
We carried out a free site survey prior to delivery to ascertain the best siting location of the kitchen. Although a tight fit we we were able to place the unit next to the exisiting kitchen alllowing easy transportation of meals into the home.
We supplied a 16ft Single Unit equipped with:
- Full fire extraction and suppression system
- 50ltr Hot Water Heater
- Hand Wash Sink
- Single Bowl Sink
- Six Burner Range
- Lift Hood Dishwasher
- Stainless Steel Tabling
Once installed and testing of the unit was completed the catering management staff were fully trained on all the equipement to ensure safe and effective use.
