Case Study: Bupa
Dawsongroup kitchens have developed a 10 year working relationship with BUPA, consistently enabling care homes to maintain high quality catering during refurbishment projects throughout the UK.
Dawsongroup were approached by BUPA's Regional Surveyor to provide temporary catering facilities during a kitchen refurbishment at Leominster Residential & Nursing Home in Central Herefordshire.
Whilst the refurbishment was carried out, it was essential that catering staff could continue to provide a full menu provision and offer supplementary dishes for residents with special requirements. Liaising with the catering team at Leominster Care Home, this meant that Dawsongroup were able give them the flexibility to choose the equipment that best suited their requirements with a layout to match.
Dawsongroup agreed a timed delivery with the care home to ensure minimum disruption to the residents. The facility was sited around the back of the care home close to the staff entrance to enable catering staff to deliver food to residents efficiently. A ramp was also provided for ease of access to the kitchen.
'We were provided with all the equipment we required and the team also installed our own equipment for us.'
S. Bradshaw, BUPA
